Sometimes you might feel down and out

Sometimes you might feel down and out, and it feels like your works are in vain, and you feel like giving up or giving in. But don’t, because there’s someone somewhere, you might not even know, who is inspired by you, and is looking up to you. Keep on keeping, you are a testimony in making.

On a lighter note…

On a lighter note…

  • If money was a big factor on who you wanted to marry, then you must know that your relationship will be affected by inflation.
  • The blessing of being broke is that you can’t fall into the temptation of being a ‘blesser’…

Even the best marriage partner will hurt you and disappoint at times

For those of you who are married, please remember that even the best marriage partner will hurt you and disappoint at times. If you don’t believe me ask Adam. He was married to the best, the woman who out his rib, shaped by God’s hands to be suitable and compatible to him. Yet, she got them kick out of Eden. If Satan could get to Eden, he can surely get to where you stay. Watch and Pray! Even the best part marriage partner will still hurt you and disappoint you, if you don’t believe me ask Adam. His wife came from the hands of God.

Life down here is full of paradoxes, and does seem unfair at times.

Life down here is full of paradoxes, and does seem unfair at times.

You struggle for so long praying for a financial breakthrough as a couple, and when you finally get it, that financial success becomes the very thing that breaks your marriage. You work hard on your job, even sacrificing your family in the process, only to be rewarded with a retrenchment or a dismissal. You try so hard to eat and live a healthy life all your life, you exercise and take care of your body, and then you get diagnosed with cancer that has already advanced. You give your all to your marriage, sacrificing even your career ambitions in order to prioritise your marriage, only to find that your spouse has been having an affair all along. You take your children to the best private schools, paying fees you can’t afford, only for them learn to drink and get addicted drugs at those schools. The young person full of life and vigor dies and sickly parent he was taking care of, continues to live on.

We must realise that after we have done our best, this world is still not our home. We must, as a matter of priority, look for the City with foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Mighty Men of Valour

Mighty Men of Valour

prayer_raised_hands

A lot of negative things have been said about men, sometimes fairly, and sometimes unfairly. Indeed, there are many wrong things that have been done and are being by men.

But there are many good men out there, mighty men of valour! Men who stand to be counted. Men who are morally and spiritually upright. Men who are strong in the Lord and in His service. Men who are loving and caring to their wives and families. Men who are honest and hard working. Men are there is rearing and raising their kids. Men who protect their wives and children. Men who are devoted priests in their homes who minister in Word and deeds. Men, real men!

Sometimes there are disrespected, uncared for, cheated on, pushed aside, looked down upon, by their wives, children and society, but they remain faithful to God and their calling to be loving husbands and caring fathers.

These my heroes, my role models, mighty men of valour! These are the hope for families, the nation and humanity as a whole.

If you see any of them today, give them a strong handshake, a hug and a kiss (where appropriate)

The vicious cycle of life.

The vicious cycle of life.

A young woman who was hated and terrorised by her mother-in-law ends up being a mother-in-law from ‘hell’ to her own daughter-in-law. A young man who saw and felt the pain that his father afflicted on his mother and children through abuse, neglected and unfaithfulness ends up doing the very same things that his father did. Passing on the generational curses of dysfunctional families. I am glad that through Calvary, there is a power (in the blood) to stop and reverse generational curses, and to start a new God-fearing generation in your lifetime.
